Biltong is the South African version of beef jerky. At Biltong Depot we make biltong the old fashioned way. We thick cut steaks of beef, cure it with salt and spices, and air dry it for about 10 days. This option is lightly smoked for a delicious barbecue-inspired flavor.

This version is for those customers looking for a high protein snack without all the additives & preservatives.

I just returned from 5 weeks in southern Africa where I all but lived on biltong. Returning home and running out of the supply I brought back, I needed to find a new source. The smoked biltong I received was delicious. And it melted in my mouth just like the African stuff. I love it and will be restocking soon.
