Smoked Drywors is the exact same recipe only smoked, and the Crown is the one that has the more traditional flavor with spices added like clove and nutmeg. First, there's nothing wrong with this product, I just couldn't give it 5* when it didn't have the flavor profile I prefer. What profile is that? I dislike salt. Obviously salt has to be a strong part of a cured product - with that in mind: For me and my palate the salt flavor came through too much for my liking. I think most people would say I'm crazy and will love it for that so, If you're on the fence about trying it I would 100% give it a shot. Whereas it wasn't my fav I'm still going to eat the whole thing and be happy about it. I look forward to trying more from Biltong in the near future!

FANTASTIC, Great to finally have a reliable source of Biltong in the states. Flavor is good, not overly filling, nutritional info is clearly printed on the back. Just like what you get in camp while hunting Africa. Will be purchasing again.

I bought this based on a recommendation and was not disappointment. Everyone's taste are a bit different and this may be "hot" for some but for me it's a great balance between heat and flavor.

However, if you purchase a whole slab, you'll have the flexibility to slice it to your preferred thickness. Enjoy customizing it to your taste! You can use a sharp knife, however our biltong cutter is perfect for easy slicing :)

This is a great snack, I like it better than the steak slice, this reminds me of Pastrami. I'm a carnivore and this is really good stuff. About an ounce is a tasty snack.
